Brussels Spring

I'm not really into fancy restaurant
I tend to try a more fun, entertaining, and unique restaurant
and through a food-haunting time with my friend, Stephen,
I found this unique family restaurant, named Brussels Spring
in Jakarta it has opened two branches, one in Epicentrum Mall, and another which I visited recently, Tribecca by Central Park Mall

First impression, eye-catching table full with small clay decoration under the see-through glass on top of it.

The second thing that caught my eye are the decoration all around the place, like a fancy doll made of plastic, covered in small see through shelves, and properly placed, such a fun thing looking around and see those colorful plastic doll

It's a mostly red and white theme

Then the brave-red colored sofa seat is the last thing that impressed me the most, it add THING to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

Back to the most crucial point of a restaurant, its food, I'm not good at criticizing flavor, texture, or anything much about food. As long as it caught me a pleasure to finish it up, I conclude it as a good food, worth trying for. While you've been asking what I ordered here, they are a blue cheese ravioli, a bowl of zupa soup, for the drink we have some kind of green soda thing (which I barely remember the name is) and a peppermint flavored tea. Beside that, we chose maple syrup banana waffle for the dessert accompanied by a glass of glowing flower tea (I don't know the exact name, but the flower glow inside the pot filled by hot water)

Pangandaran

"Pangandaran is a Tourist Location in West Java, Indonesia. Pangandaran is Family friendly and has also for individual Tourists much to offer. In the Bay Area Pananjung are two beautiful Beaches for swimming, surfing or just relaxing. Here you have much Activities and Adventures like Trekking, Snorkeling, Fishing and many more" *

Just a few weeks ago, I went to Pangandaran with my family and two cousins, sure I had much fun there, Pangandaran is such a beautiful place, It has a beautiful beaches all the way separated between the east and west side. It took about 7-8 hours by car from Jakarta
Its' beach is not as crowded and well-known as Kuta beach, Bali, but has its own treasure lay beneath.
The one which impressed me the most is the Green Canyon,
to can access this place by a 1 hour road trip from the Pangandaran main gate
to get here you just have to pay 75.000 IDR each boat (maximum capacity 5 people)
some people asked whether it has any coherent or similarity with the Grand Canyon as well-known,
well for me, nothing in common though, totally different,
Green Canyon is a wide river, green in color (red during rainy days), and framed by a tall rocks in the both corner of the river, such a beautiful and breath-taking view for me
After riding the boat for about 15 minutes, I started to explore the view by swimming through the river, cause it's place the boat can't access due to lots of rock all through the river

How great is our God,
so just come and pack your bag, come to Pangandaran, once in a life time experience.
But though there's a few bad things, I can't find any fancy or good restaurant there, even the most popular seafood restaurant didn't serve the best taste, so be better ready with packs of instant noodle :p

had been quite a long time I don't write anything here,
actually there are much thing I want and need to share,
from my holiday experiences and lessons I've learned
and there's no other reason beside of my broken down laptop,
I've tried so many times to fix it, but still it didn't work well
due to writing practice and to fill my time I decide to write things down

well, just a few weeks ago, I went to Pangandaran with my family,
I got to post a few photos of it right away of course
and I'd visited an orphanage, and I had so much lesson learned there,
so many things I need to share,
wish I had that time to spend to write and fix my laptop

but for today's lesson, I learned that people can't never had enough,
they're full of wishes and desire, that's why it's hard for people to be grateful of what they have, but when you looked down, and see people who wished they're on your position just like when you wonder you're somebody else, you'll feel much more grateful and thankful for what you had and what He had given to us, so once a while, look down, people! :)

5 Manfaat Donor Darah Bagi Kesehatan

1. Menjaga kesehatan jantung

Tingginya kadar zat besi dalam darah akan membuat seseorang menjadi lebih rentan terhadap penyakit jantung. Zat besi yang berlebihan di dalam darah bisa menyebabkan oksidasi kolesterol. Produk oksidasi tersebut akan menumpuk pada dinding arteri dan ini sama dengan memperbesar peluang terkena serangan jantung dan stroke. Saat kita rutin mendonorkan darah maka jumlah zat besi dalam darah bisa lebih stabil. Ini artinya menurunkan risiko penyakit jantung.

2. Meningkatkan produksi sel darah merah

Donor darah juga akan membantu tubuh mengurangi jumlah sel darah merah dalam darah. Hasilnya, sebagai pendonor kita akan mendapatkan pasokan darah baru setiap kali kita mendonorkan darah. Oleh karena itu, donor darah menjadi langkah yang baik untuk menstimulasi pembuatan darah baru.

3. Membantu penurunan berat tubuh

Menjadi donor darah adalah salah satu metode diet dan pembakaran kalori yang ampuh. Sebab dengan memberikan sekitar 450 ml darah, akan membantu proses pembakaran kalori kira-kira 650. Itu adalah jumlah kalori yang banyak untuk membuat pinggang kita ramping.

4. Mendapatkan kesehatan psikologis

5. Mendeteksi penyakit serius

Setiap kali kita ingin mendonorkan darah, prosedur standarnya adalah darah kita akan diperiksa dari berbagai macam penyakit seperti HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, sifilis, dan malaria. Bagi yang menerima donor darah, ini adalah informasi penting untuk mengantisipasi penularan penyakit melalui transfusi darah. Sedangkan untuk kita, ini adalah “rambu peringatan” yang baik agar kita lebih perhatian terhadap kondisi kesehatan kita sendiri.

Setelah menginjak usia 18 tahun, cobalah untuk membiasakan diri mendonorkan darah setiap tiga bulan sekali. Tidak hanya akan memberikan perasaan yang senang karena dapat membantu sesama, namun bermanfaat positif bagi kesehatan tubuh kita sendiri. Dan usia maksimal untuk melakukan kebiasaan baik ini adalah hingga berusia 60 tahun. Jadi jangan tunggu lama lagi, ayo… saatnya donor darah!

A Million Dollar wishes

What if...
I love to dream, I love to imagine any possible or even impossible things,
and one of the possible one (hopefully) is what would I've done if I had a million dollar
And this is what I've thought of using it

1. Investment on property
Money easily fades away, especially when you think you have much (which actually not). And I think that property is one of the most promising place to invest your money. Lands are rare and its value increase every time. I would also buy myself a comfortable peace mansion to live after I've got retired

2. Build a small clinic
A free one of course for those who struggle in their financial life. I want to have all full-dedicated doctors and nurses to work at the clinic. So they will help full-heartedly, without any commercial views.

3. Build a small fun-learning education school
indeed, it's a FREE fun-learning education school for those who need help in their financial life

4. Build my own fitness center
This is a commercial one. To pursue more people to live a healthy living. Beside I really love to go to the gym.

5. Travel around Indonesia and the world
I would really love to visit all unique and beautiful places around the world.

6. Make my own restaurant
I would build a fine-dining restaurant. With lots a chandelier around the corner of the restaurant. A comfy place to chill, a romantic place to spend the night, and a promising food taste.

7. Make my own clothing line
I would like to make my own clothing line. perhaps my clothing line would be named 'pursue', inspired by the film 'the pursuit of happiness', I wonder If I could bring up a high quality material but with an affordable price, so that it would bring happiness and satisfaction for those who buy the clothes

I think that's all the dreams I've dream so far just if I had a million dollar,
Wish it will do come true, what's your million dollar wishes?

Too Tight

'you may not hold any thing too tight',
not too firm, cause when you hold it just too tight it will whether squeezed, break, or fall by itself. Just like when you hold a sand with your hands.

When you're holding something really tight, you didn't take better chances out there right infront of your face cause you're keep looking at that 'something' and ignoring anything else.

It's good actually to concentrate and focus on 'something', but how you'll know if there are lots better thing to 'hold into' out there when you're too serious with the one you're holding right then.

And when both of your hands are holding too much already and you caught a sight of a better one,
let go, let go of what you have, you better let go and get something else better

Don't take too much. Don't grab everything your eyes caught, or you will lose everything,
and it will left you with nothing else

Despite from being grateful of what you have, but you have the right to have something better for yourself, I deserve it too, we all deserve it

Nothing will let me down, and I know if there's a will, there will always be a way

People change, dynamically
it's just nobody knows when,
there are two ways of changing, the white side or the other side
That slightly might be the cause for me to hardly lean on someone else
and trust other people

Main Dishes : Creamy Bacon and Mushroom

I'm going to really work on this recipe for the next time I have time to throw myself into the kitchen, this creamy bacon and mushroom dishes which will be modified with a fettuccine pasta must be a really tasty and great dinner

375g dried fettuccine pasta
1 bunch broccolini, cut into 5cm lengths
2 x 125g 98% fat free bacon, cut into 1.5cm pieces
500g button mushrooms, halved
5g reduced-fat dairy spread
40g (1/4 cup) plain flour
560ml (21/4 cups) skim milk
60ml (1/4 cup) extra light thickened cream
30g cheddar
2 tbs shredded parmesan (Shaved parmesan, to serve)

steps
1. Cook pasta in a saucepan of boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Add the broccolini in the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain.
2.Meanwhile, heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add bacon and mushroom and cook for 5 minutes or until tender. Transfer to a plate.
3. Melt the spread in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until combined. Remove from heat. Gradually whisk in milk and cream until combined. Place over medium heat and cook, stirring, for 3-5 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens. Add the cheddar and shredded parmesan and stir until melted.
4. Add the pasta mixture and the bacon mixture to the pan and stir until combined. Divide among serving bowls. Season with salt and pepper and top with shaved parmesan to serve.

Next Destination : Raja Ampat

Another lack of posting due to the super tight schedule at school,
Without any longer, I have been wondering if I could go to Raja Ampat,
It's another breathtaking places in the west Papua of Indonesia

Beside it served you with an unbelievably magnificent underwater ocean park, it's also confirmed to be one of the highest marine biodiversity on Earth! Interesting, right?
It also has a huge massive coral colonies, let the picture say much more,

This place suit totally for any people who love nature especially underwater ocean park. Photographer, diver, and backpacker should visit this gorgeous place. I want to visit this place either, someday, I will.
